SOUTH BEND - George Radman, 84, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, after a brief illness. George was born July 22, 1933 in South Bend, to the late Mary and George Radmanovich. He was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. George is survived by one niece, two nephews, three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and one great-great nephew. George had worked at Drewry's and retired from AM General. After retirement, he proudly finished his college education at IUSB with a bachelor's degree. He was a member and strong supporter of the St. Peter & St. Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. George was always ready to offer his help with any and all church projects. He served as a trustee on the Church Board, lending his help and expertise on various matters. He will be deeply missed by his family as well as his Kumovi, church family, and many friends. “Rest in peace in God's light good and faithful servant.” Funeral Services will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 16, at St. Peter & St. Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 59248 Keria Trail, South Bend, IN 46614, with Father Vladimer Lange officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 15, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., South Bend, with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Contributions in George's memory may be made to the church or Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W. Edison Rd., Suite 122, Mishawaka, IN 46545. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the nurses and staff on 10 South at Memorial, especially “Alexis” and “Kelsey” who provided our Uncle and family with professional and compassionate care, and the nurses and staff at Heart to Heart Hospice.
