SOUTH BEND - Miklos Mark, 85, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2010, in his residence. Miklos was born on October 27, 1925, in Fertoendred, Hungary. He retired in 1990 from St. Mary's College where he was employed for 33 years. On May 26, 1956, in Hungary, he married the former Elizabeth Acs, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth (David) Keaffaber of Fishers, IN; a son, Nicholas (Connie) Mark of South Bend; two grandchildren, Matthew and Kyle; and many friends in Hungary. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
