MISHAWAKA - Rudolph L. Meuninck, 78, of Seventh Street, died at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Meuninck retired in 1980 after 39 years in the inspection department of Dodge Manufacturing Division of Reliance Electric Co. He was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Mishawaka. On Aug. 17, 1943, in Mishawaka, he married Georgine M. Talacci. She survives with two daughters, Pamela ''Penny'' Miller of South Bend and Kathy Meuninck of Muskegon, Mich.; a son, David J. of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; a sister, Genevieve Gyoles of Mishawaka; and five brothers, Charles and Julius, both of Mishawaka, Fred and Ernest, both of South Bend, and Albert of Edwardsburg. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, BK Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Intombment will be in Fairview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 3:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
