Julia Ann Cichos, 64, of 52350 Scott St., passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2001, in her residence. Mrs. Cichos was born in Crescent, OH, on September 14, 1937, to the late Joseph and Julia (Barath) Gersey. On November 8, 1958, as Julia Gersey, she married Joseph T. Cichos, who survives. She is also survived by three daughters, Cynthia Cichos of South Bend, Patricia (Stan) McKelvey of Mishawaka, IN, and Suzanne (Chris) Morse of Cassopolis, MI; three grandchildren, Kristy Cichos of South Bend, and Amanda and Stanley McKelvey, both of Mishawaka, IN; and one brother, Joseph "Bob" (Marabell) Gersey of Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Cichos was a rate estimator for Travelers Insurance for 21 years. She was also a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM, Monday, October 8, 2001, in Christ the King Catholic Church. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julia's name to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437. South Bend Tribune 10/6/2001
