SOUTH BEND - Frank Anthony Krakowski, 89, of South Bend, died Thursday, Oct. 18, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 13, 1918, in South Bend, to Frank and Marie (Lipowski) Krakowski. Mr. Krakowski was previously employed by Millikin's Transmission, Precision Piece Parts and the Singer Company. He married Margaret, who preceded him in death in 1987. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Eddie, Clem and Louie. He then married Frances, who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Judy Ciesiolka of Niles; his son, Frank (Beth) Krakowski of South Bend; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and by his sister, Alice Machowiak of South Bend. Visitation will be held today, Oct. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.
