ELKHART - Robert and Elizabeth (Serritella) Ebbole celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in October.
They were married Oct. 27, 1956, at Holy Cross Church in South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Ebbole are the owners of Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Elkhart and South Bend. Mrs. Ebbole is also a registered nurse. Their children are David Ebbole of Elkhart, Karen Vargo of Granger, Daniel Ebbole, Ph.D., of College Station, Texas, Douglas Ebbole of Erie, Mich., and Julia Schult of Louisville Ky. They have 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
