EDWARDSBURG - Kenneth Lee "Moose" Manuszak, 51 years old, of Edwardsburg, passed to his rest on June 11, 2013 at his home, unexpectedly. He was born February 7, 1962 in South Bend, the son of Kenneth R. and Mary Ann (Laskowski) Manuszak. He grew up in the South Bend area and graduated from LaSalle High School. In 1982 Ken joined the U.S. Navy and served his country until 1988, when he was discharged as a Seaman Infantryman, and served time aboard a ship. He moved to the Edwardsburg area, where he lived the past 22 years and had worked for Dexter Axel in the shipping-delivery department until Dexter closed. He then worked for Kinro in Goshen. Survivors are his parents, mother Mary Ann Manuszak of Mishawaka, & his father, Kenneth R. Manuszak of South Bend; his sister, Brenda Kay (Brian) Reinhart of Elkhart; & his two brothers, Robert Allen of Mishawaka and Edward Charles of South Bend. There are several cousins and friends, and his aunts and uncles. Family and friends may gather at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main St. (US-12), Edwardsburg, on June 22, 2013 from 9:00-10:00 AM, with a 10:00 AM Memorial Service. At the end of the memorial service the United States Navy Honor Guard will play TAPS and fold the Flag.
