Oct 23, 1920 - Aug. 30, 1995 - Buchanan, services for Paul MARAZITA, 74, of 522 Liberty St., who died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday in his home of natural causes, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Niles. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoven Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Hoe, 2618 John Beers Road, Stevensville, MI 49127. Mr. MARAZITA owned the Marz Sweet Shop for 48 years. He was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Niles. On Aug. 15, 1945, in NIles, he married Kathleen STONER. She survives with two daughters, Antoinette WENDELL of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Kimberly WILLIAMS of Niles; three sons, Paul Jr. and Joe, both of Niles; three sons, Paul Jr. and Joe, both of Niles, and Mike of Buchanan; a sister, Virginia MARAZITA of Niles; five brothers, Tony of Sturgis, Phillip of Lansing, and Warren, Albert and John, all of Niles; and nine grandchildren. A daughter, Lisa CHADWICK, died Oct. 31, 1981. Mr. MARAZITA served as chairman of the Buchanan Board of Appeals for many years and coached Pony League baseball for many years.
