OSCEOLA -- Victor R. Grayson, 87, of Osceola, formerly of Mishawaka, died Tuesday (Jan. 8, 2008) at home.He was born Oct. 27, 1920, in South Bend, to Cashmier and Lottie (Lyczyniski) Golubski. He married Norma R. Metzler on Nov. 18, 1944, in South Bend. She died June 23, 1994.Mr. Grayson is survived by a daughter, Mary Steward of Osceola; one grandson; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Grayson of Osceola; and two sisters, Geraldine "Gerry" (Bogie) Bogaert and Darlene (Albert) Van De Voorde, both of Mishawaka.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Grayson; a son, Thomas V. Grayson; and a grandson, Patrick I. Steward. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth St., Mishawaka. The funeral service will immediately follow at noon, with the Rev. Richard Laurick officiating. Mr. Grayson was a 1938 Central High School graduate and a 1944 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He worked for Studebaker from 1944 to 1954, and was pharmaceutical sales representative for A.H. Robins for 32 years before retiring in 1986.
Mr. Grayson was U. S. Army Korean War veteran. He was 4th Degree Knight of Columbus in South Bend, Council 553, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in South Bend and a member of American Legion Post 210 in Middlebury.Memorials may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 309 S.
