Paul Carl Nagy, 70, of 714 S.Dundee St., died Thursday morning in St. Joseph Hospital after a six-month illness. Mr. Nagy was born in Hungary on Sept. 21, 1893, coming here in 1910 from there. He married Mary Kertis (Kertesz) on Nov. 11, 1917 in St. Stephen's Catholic Church, South Bend. Mrs. Nagy survives. A retired employee of the Studebaker Corp., he had worked there for 37 years. Besides his widow he is survived by two sons, Alex P. and Ernest J.; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Trczinski, Mrs. Katherine Morence, Mrs. Freda McCarthy and Mrs. Jean Macarab, all of South Bend; 21 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; a brother, Louis Nagy of Granger and a sister, Mrs. Anna Gerencser of South Bend.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday in the Zahoran Funeral Home.

NAGY-Funeral services for Paul Carl Nagy, 714 S. Dundee St., who died Thursday in St. Joseph's Hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. James Blantz, C.S.C., assistant pastorr, will officiate, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Frank Nagy, Paul Nagy, Andrew Fuzy, Elmer Danch, Michael Gerencser and Steven Nagy. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Zahoran Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
