Michael "Mike" Allen Gillespie, resident of Indianapolis, peacefully passed at home of nature causes. Mike was born January 21, 1967 in South Bend, IN. He was the son of Mary Ann Loucks & stepson of Dale Loucks of Edwardsburg, MI. Also surviving are his brother, Robert (Dana) Gillespie of Osceola, IN, and sister Cheryl (Vince) Micucci of Mishawaka, IN, as well as several nieces. Mike was the father of Skyler Gillespie of Boulder, CO, Briana Gillespie of Indianapolis, IN and Bradley Gillespie of Bloomington, IN. Preceding Mike in death was his father, Lawrence (Larry) Gillespie and brother Jeffrey Gillespie. Mike was a 1985 graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend, IN, and a 1990 graduate of Indiana University. Mike was an Operations Manager at Osco Drug before accepting a position in Indianapolis with Millennium Memorial, a subsidiary of The Buchanan Group. Mike loved to golf and was a big sports fan, he especially loved to cheer on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Chicago Cubs and the Miami Dolphins. Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, from 10am-1pm, followed by a funeral service at 1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Memorial contributions in Michael's name can be made out to the recipient of the donor's choice.
