SOUTH BEND - Norma J. Wesley, 80, of South Bend, passed away peacefully in her home on July 16, 2012. Born March 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe E. and Ruth C. (Long) Lehman. On July 2, 1950, Norma married Ervin A. Wesley, who passed away September 29, 1989. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann M. Lehman in 1952; a daughter, Diane M. Stevens on January 7th, 1997; and her longtime companion, Stanley "Gene" Zawacki, in 2009. She is survived by three daughters, Gail A. (Rickie) Glassburn of Mishawaka, Carol J. (David) Kowalewski of South Bend and Teresa E. (Robert) Rhodes of South Bend; one son, Michael A. (Joellen) Wesley of South Bend; nine grandchildren, Gabriel, Dana, Kari, Derek, Maria, Tracy, Valery, Anthony and Lisa; and 12 great-grandchildren. Norma was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to bowl, knit and do crafts. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the McGann Hay, Forest G. Hay Chapel, 435 S. Ironwood Drive, from 4-8 PM, with a wake service at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Friday at the funeral home at 11 AM, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
