Darlene K. DeMeulenaere, 81, passed away on Monday September 2, 2019 at Bell Tower Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 2, 1938 to the late August and Rose (Wisniewski) DeMeulenaere.
Darlene is survived by her sister Rosemarie Garis; two nieces, Jamie Miller and Janet Womack; two nephews, John Garis and James Garis; and her very special friend and neighbor, Mae Staggers. Darlene was a lifelong resident of South Bend and was self-employed as a local hairdresser for 50 years. Palmer Funeral Homes - Guisinger Chapel is assisting family with arrangements.
