Rosemary Cinkowski, 81, of South Bend, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 16, 2006, in her home surrounded by her immediate family. She was born on March 21, 1924, to the union of Alex and Margaret Vargo. On April 27, 1946, she married the love of her life, Raymond L. Cinkowski, who preceded her in death on January 5, 1975. They were married for 29 years. Also preceding her were two sisters, Margaret Sabo of South Bend and Mary Wendl Fritz of Edwardsburg, Mich.; and three brothers, Alex, Louis and Eugene Vargo. Surviving to cherish her memory are a daughter, Nancy (Dennis) Gradeless of Mishawaka; a son, James (Lillian) Cinkowski of Simpsonville, SC; three granddaughters, Lori (Jimmy) Witzigman, Heather T. Scholine of South Bend and Cheryl (Wayne) Bagwell of Fountain Inn, SC; and a great-grandson, due May 2006; and three sisters, Helen Scott of San Diego, Calif., Irene Sandor and Betty Mroczkiewicz, both of South Bend, Ind.
