Frank J. Walinski, 2914 Prast Blvd, died in the Osteopathic Hospital Tuesday after a brief illness. He was born in Germany on Sept 8, 1876 and came to South Bend from there as an infant. Mr. Walinski retired from Studebaker Corp. eight years ago after 42 years of service. Surviving are his widow, Mary; three daughters, Mrs. John Chmilewski, Mrs. Lester Downing, both of South Bend and Mrs. Herman V. Artt of Grosse Pointe, Michigan; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Augusta Luckzkowski of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 pm Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday in St. Stanislaus Catholic church with Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Thursday and Friday in the funeral home.
