SOUTH BEND - Edward J. Critchlow, 50, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 5th at his residence. He was born in South Bend, IN on August 13, 1966 to Arthur J. and Carol Ann (Rybicki) Critchlow. He was a resident of the Michiana area working as a self-employed carpenter. Edward is survived by his mother, Carol Ann Critchlow of South Bend, two step daughters, Cassondra Lowery of South Bend and Angee Lowery of Tucson, AZ; a step son, Brandon Lowery of South Bend, two sisters, Diane (Ron) Sopczynski and Linda (Mark) Dombrowski both of South Bend and a brother, James Critchlow of Osceola. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur J. Critchlow. Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, making syrup at the Sugar Camp and spending time with Dominic. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family request memorial contributions be made to the family c/o Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, 23421 State Road 23, South Bend, IN 46614 to help defray funeral expenses.
