The South Bend Directory shows Lucya living with Stanislaus Salata and Maryanna her daughter at 306 South Cherry. She and Peter resided at 118 South Chestnut in 1884 he is listed as a Laborer. She first appears at the Cherry street address in 1891 following Peters death.
Obit Saturday June 11 1910....... On this date an obit is listed in the South Bend Tribune for a Mrs Luckowska at 306 So Cherry. The furneral scheduled for the next day is the only one performed that day. Perhaps the Tribune got the namr wrong or perhaps she had married after Peters death. No confirming record was available.
