She married Edward Anthony Osowski on February 7, 1948 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elkhart; he passed away on February 12, 1997. Survivors include three daughters: Rita Tatum and Bridget (John) Sovinski of Mishawaka, and Carmel (Joe) Alby of South Bend, and three sons: Edward (Rebecca) Osowski of Elkhart, Timothy (Alana) Osowski of Jilemnice, Czech Republic, and Matthew (Kim) Osowski of Elkhart. She worked at Rollie Williams Paint Spot, helping customers in Elkhart and South Bend with interiors for 13 years until her retirement. An accomplished artist, Edith produced many lovely drawings and paintings. She enjoyed gardening, particularly her prized roses, and watching the birds at her many outside feeders and bird baths.
