South Bend Tribune, Friday, October 18, 1996:
Walter L. Wroblewski, 74, of Tulip Road, New Carlisle, Indiana, died Wednesday in his residence. Mr. Wroblewski was born on June 1, 1922 in New Carlisle and was a lifelong area resident. On Nov 24, 1945 in south Bend, he married Gertrude Wachowiak, who survives. He is also survived by his son, Thomas Wroblewski of Skokie, Illinois. Services will be held Saturday, Oct 19 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd, South Bend. Mr. Wroblewski was a member of the Ushers Club and the Parish Cuncil, both of the Church. He was also a member of the Polish National Alliance Group 3078 of Terre Coupee.
