SOUTH BEND - Joseph ''Mopstick'' Kaczorowski, 70, of West Ford Street, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal after an illness. Mr. Kaczorowski retired in 1988 from the University of Notre Dame after 35 years of service. He was born Jan. 16, 1925, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by two sisters, Hilda Kazmierczak and Monica Kaczorowski, both of South Bend; and a brother, Casimir of South Bend. He was a member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday until services in the funeral home.
