Mishawaka-Harry Eugene Bolin Sr., 82, passed away on Monday, January 2 in his home. Harry was born on July 26, 1929 in Mishawaka to Charles and Leila (Stockler) Bolin. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Shirley Dhaeze, Emma Fisher, Leona Baker, Vera Mae Smith, Mabel Bolin, Charles, Jim, George, Floyd and Gordon Bolin. On July 14, 1951 in Sacred Heart Church in South Bend he married the former Evelyn Kashmer. Surviving are his loving wife of over 60 years, Evelyn, children, Evelyn Mark of Mishawaka, Shirley Bolin of Naples, FL, Harry (Virginia) Bolin Jr. of Mishawaka, Dorothy Korlowicz of Mishawaka and Debbie Holloman of South Bend; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Kisrow, David Korlowicz, Michael Korlowicz, Chris Mc Neil, Kalina Mc Neil, Brian Mark and Kevin Mark; a great grandchild, Austin Kisrow; two sisters, Beula Swank of Mishawaka and Leila (Larry) William of Osceola and a brother, Arthur (Barb) Bolin of South Bend. Harry worked for Studebaker Corporation in South Bend after leaving there he went to work for Kroger's on Western Ave, South Bend for 38 years before he retired. Harry was a very loving husband and father. He was an avid Notre Dame fan; he also loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Harry enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, playing cards especially with his grandchildren and being a great story teller for them.Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 5 from 2 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m., in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral service will be on Friday, January 6 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph PRC Cemetery in South Bend.
