GRANGER - Clarence E. Filipski, 86, of Granger, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, in St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka, IN, with his loving family at his bedside. Clarence was born on August 29, 1928, in South Bend, IN, to Anthony and Helen (Babacz) Filipski. On August 13, 1955, he married the former Lorraine Korpal. They would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this August. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was a member of St. Pius X Parish. Clarence was a driver/ salesman for Kreamo Bakery, retiring after 32 years of service in 1990. Clarence is survived by his wife, Lorraine; their children: Kathryn (Richard) Kuhlmann, Karen Filipski and Michael (Bridget) Filipski; their three grandchildren, Anthony Filipski, Jessica Filipski and Daniel Filipski. He is also survived by his sister, Eleanor Verosky, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00-4:00 pm at the McGann Hay Funerals | Cremations | Gatherings, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd.
