William Vernon Zipser, 70, of South Bend, IN passed away at 12:15 pm Friday, July 19, 2013 at Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 3, 1943 in Elkhart, IN to Louis and Josephine E (Rounds) Zipser. Mr Zipser is survived by two sons, William "Todd" Zipser of Goshen, IN and Thomas Vernon (Jennifer) Zipser of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren; one great grandson He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine E Rozman and Louis Zipser; three sisters, Wanda, Louise and Norma and a twin brother, Louis Zipser Jr. Mr Zipser served his country honorably as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corp from 1960-1964. He was a truck driver for Himco and worked for an R V Manufacturing Company in Elkhart, IN.He worked independently renovating homes including his mother's basement. He built beautiful acoustic guitars. There will be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
