From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, September 12, 1951:

James Wroblewski, state highway No. 2 (Western Ave) and Strawberry Road, died in his home today. A native of Poland, he married Casimira Szymanski September 10, 1900 in St. John Kanty Catholic church, Chicago. He had operated a Sinclair filling station at the same address for 35 years and had been a farmer all his life. Surviving are the widow; two sons, John and Michael, both of New Carlisle, this county; two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Czerniak, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Mary Burkowski, Mill Creek, Indiana; a brother, Frank, New Carlisle; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Wroblewski was a member of the St. Joseph County Farm Bureau.
