NEW CARLISLE - Mr. Harry L. Dudeck, Sr. 77, of New Carlisle passed away on December 24, 2011 at 7:21 A.M. at his home, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on December 14, 1934 in LaPorte to Claude and Lottie (Tuholski) Dudeck. He has lived in New Carlisle, IN his entire life. He was a member of St. John Kanty Catholic Church. On October 4, 1958 in LaPorte he married Joan K. Hubner who survives. He retired as a Journeyman Metal Pattern Maker from Peerless Pattern Works and owned his own business, "Harry Dudeck and Sons." Harry was a U.S. Army Reservist 1957-1963, a New Carlisle High School graduate, certified welder and blacksmith. He was an avid puller and club member of Elkhart County Gardner Tractor Pullers Association and the Northern Indiana Pullers. He leaves behind his wife Joan of New Carlisle, 1 daughter, Jennifer (Shawn) Estep of Three Oaks, MI, 3 sons, Harry L. (Nanette) Dudeck, Jr. of New Carlisle, Richard Dudeck of New Carlisle, Thomas (Vera) Dudeck of New Carlisle, 4 grandchildren, Angela Baker, Crystal Garriott, Scott Mackey, Stephani Dudeck, 2 great grandchildren Bryce Baker, Alexa Baker and several nieces and nephews. Harry is preceded by his parents. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday at St. John Kanty Catholic Church. The visitation will be on Thursday 4-8:00 P.M. and Friday 8:30-9:30 A.M. at the funeral home. The Rosary will be on Thursday at 4:30 P.M. (All times are LaPorte time) The burial will be in St. John Kanty Catholic Cemetery, following the Mass. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Place Place, Memphis, TN 38105
