SOUTH BEND - Lucille V. Rajski, 93, formerly of W. Rogers Street, where she raised her family, passed away at 11:55 a.m., Thursday, April 2, 2009 in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Lucille was born on October 17, 1915 in Chicago, IL to Anthony and Rose (Gesicki) Tobuch, and had lived in South Bend for most of her life. She retired from the former Robertson's Department Store and had also been employed with the former Studebaker Corporation. On April 27, 1936, in South Bend, as Lucille V. Tobuch, she married Edward J. Rajski, who preceded her in death on June 3, 1985. Survivors include her three sons and their families; Edward Rajski of Granger, IN, Robert (Mary) Rajski of LaPorte, IN, and Donald (Linda) Rajski of South Bend, IN. Lucille was preceded in death by her six siblings. A Mass of Christian of Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. on Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.
