Evelyn J. Derucki, 86, of 1330 Woodlawn Blvd., died at 5:30am today in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Mrs. Derucki retired from McDonalds Studio and was an employee of the former Rembrandt Studio. She was born October 11, 1905, in Montreal, Canada, and lived in South Bend most of her life. On October 27, 1951, in South Bend, as Evelyn Rogers, she married Stanley A. Derucki. He survives with a brother, Joseph F. Rogers of South Bend; a niece and a nephew. Services will be at 11am Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Thursday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 7pm.
