Rosalie A. Horth, 84, (nee Glon) passed away at 10:22pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in the Brookdale Retirement Community, Granger. Rosalie was born on January 23, 1938, in South Bend to Anthony and Yolanda (Jeziorski) Glon. On February 8, 1958, she married John Horth Jr. who survives along with a daughter Therese (John) Hedges, two sons Michael (Renee) Horth and Donald (Penny) Horth, 5 grandchildren, Zachary Horth, Hillary (Mario) Navarrete, Marie (Kris) Johnson, Nicole Butler and Jason (Sarah) Basker, 9 great-grandchildren, and a sister Marcia Dujardin. Rosalie was preceded in death by a grandson Joshua Glod and a brother Leonard Glon. She was employed as the secretary at Our Lady of Hungary Church from 1977 to 2003, was a long-time member of Our Lady of Hungary Church, served on the board of Sacred Heart Cemetery, and was a member of the St. Anthony Society Ladies Auxiliary. Rosalie enjoyed cooking and baking, relaxing at Indian Lake and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and the Lord God and was particularly dedicated to The Blessed Virgin Mary and prayed her rosary daily. She was very proud of her Polish heritage. Moja droga jacie kocham! We love you Mom and will miss your laughter, joy, and the unconditional love that you gave to all of us. Our peace, prayers, love, and blessings to you up to God and back! A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Viewing will take place from 4-8 Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue where a rosary will be recited at 6:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hungary Church or the American Diabetes Association.
