Barbara Jean Kopidlowski, age 71, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday December 9, 2021 at Goshen Hospital. She was born on April 28, 1950 in Sommerville, New Jersey to Paul and Helen Yadvish. Barbara married John Kopidlowski on April 7, 1979 in Bound Brook, NJ. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother a job in which so took a lot of pride in fulfilling. In her youth she worked a secretary and a key puncher operator in New Jersey. She enjoyed sewing shopping and crocheting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her husband of 42 years John, children Tracy (Josh) Lambdin of Goshen and Christine Kopidlowski of Montclair, NJ; grandchildren Evan Lambdin and Isabella Kopidlowski; siblings Janet Holliday of Elkhart, Thomas Yadvish of Wyoming, Vincent (Tammy) Yadvish of South Bend, IN brother-in-law James Holliday of Elkhart, brothers-in-law Andrew (Therese) Kopidlowski of Arizona, Stephen (Lisa) Christopher of Arizona and sister-in-law Ellen (John) Wielgomas of Toms River, NJ. Visitation will be held 3-8 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where the rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 411 West Vistula Street, Bristol, IN 46507 where friends may visit one hour before mass. Father Dermot Ganah will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol, IN Online condolences may be made to the family at www.stemmlawsonpeterson.com
