Elaine M. Delinski, 97, of Niles, Michigan passed away at Buchanan Meadows in Buchanan, on Friday, December 10, 2021. Elaine was born on October 19, 1924, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Zygmunt and Hattie Kolski. On August 9, 1947, she married Valentine Delinski, in South Bend. Together they shared 66 years of marriage until Val’s passing in 2013. Elaine was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Miller and sister, Jean Ann Kolski and is survived by her son David (Sonya) Delinski, of Niles, grandson, Brock (Kathleen) Delinski of Sedona, Arizona, and son-in-law, Don Miller of Niles. Elaine worked and retired from the processing department of First Bank and Trust, now First Source Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, baking, sewing, and in her later years was an avid watcher of all food channels on television. She loved working and maintaining her flower gardens as well. Elaine’s Catholic faith was a source of comfort and a priority in her life. Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home; 521 E. Main St. Niles, on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church at 3 South 19th Street, Niles, Michigan at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. An interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Niles where Elaine will be laid to rest next to her husband. In an abundance of caution, the family requests that anyone attending the viewing and/or mass please wear a mask and follow all COVID19 guidelines. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. Mark Catholic Church. Condolences, photos, and memories may be left for the family at www.BrownFuneralHomeNiles.com.
