NILES - Dennis G. Paturalski, age 57 years, of Niles, Michigan died at 4:32 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Hospice House in South Bend, Indiana following a brief illness. He was born on September 4, 1955 in South Bend, Indiana to George D. and Mary L. (Sossoman) Paturalski. He was graduated from Niles High School, and lived here most of his life. He was self-employed as a carpenter, and was employed at the Niles-Buchanan YMCA. Ken enjoyed carpentry, completing personal projects at home, and tended a large, productive vegetable garden. He enjoyed all outdoors activities. He was preceded in death by his father, George Paturalski, who died on November 27, 2011. Surviving family includes his children, Leah Paturalski of Niles and Blake (& Becky) Paturalski of South Bend; grandchildren, Sophia, Hunter, and Levi; Dennis' mother, Mary Paturalski of Niles; brother, Duane (& Barbara) Paturalski of Niles; and two nieces, Chelsea and Austa. The funeral service for Dennis Paturalski will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Dale Speckman of Zion United Church of Christ in Wakarusa, Indiana. The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
