Mishawaka - John F. Blasko, 75, of 921 N. Willow St., died about 6 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1908 in Chicago, and lived in this area most of his life. He retired in 1969 from Uniroyal Inc. where he had been employed for 43 years. Survivors include four sisters Helen Mandich of South Bend and Rose Hall, Annie Petrovich and Mary B. Sweeney, all of Mishawaka; and five brothers, Andrew of Osceola and Michael, Joseph, Anthony and Frank, all of Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday. Mr. Blasko was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 369, the DeAmicis Club and Mishawaka Eagles Aerie 2083.
