MISHAWAKA - Thomas Dewey, 80, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at St. Paul's in South Bend. Thomas was born on Dec. 11, 1935, in Goshen, to Carlisle and Lillian (Zentz) Dewey. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Fred Mick. On June 26, 1965, he married Sharon Schelstraete Surviving are his wife, Sharon; daughter, Stephanie (Joe) Jakubowski; son, Troy (Lisa) Dewey; grandchildren, Hannah Jakubowski and Haylie Jakubowski; sister, Diane Mick of Goshen; and a brother, Richard (Donna) Dewey of Goshen. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for NIPSCO for 32 years before he retired. Thomas was a Trap Shooter and taught Troy how to trap shoot. After his retirement he and Sharon enjoyed going out to lunch almost daily at the Canton House Restaurant and taking vacations to Florida. Visitation will be on Monday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with funeral services at 12 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev.
