SOUTH BEND - Brian Richard Kromkowski, 41, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in his home. Brian was born on February 18, 1977 in South Bend. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Kotowski Kromkowski of South Bend, Indiana; his father and stepmother, Bob and Gerri Kromkowski of South Bend, Indiana; two sisters, Becky Drews of Indianapolis, Indiana and Beth Kromkowski of South Bend, Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Alexis, Connor, Jacob, Carson, and Olivia; and by his special friend, Mary Buwa. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Brian enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, and disc golfing. He loved animals. He was a Notre Dame, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Bears fan. Memorial contributions may be directed to Pet Refuge.
