Granger, IN--Mrs. Mary L. (Benko) Sieradzki, 76, of Elm Road, passed away following an extended illness , at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, in her residence
Mary was born on October 19, 1930, in South Bend, to Carl and Anna (Nemeth) Benko, who both preceded her in death. On August 25, 1951, in South Bend, she married Richard V. Sieradzki, who survives of Granger. She retired as physical plant manager at Indiana University South Bend in 1992 after 15 years of service Other survivors include her children, Debra J. Kinzie of South Bend, Richard D. (Cindy) Sieradzki of Greer, SC, and Robert D. (Deborah) Sieradzki of Granger; five grandchildren, Brian and Craig Kinzie, David, Erin and Ashleigh Sieradzki; and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Abigail and Colin
A sister, Anne Nagy, also predeceased her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 3rd, in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Fir Road at SR 23, Granger, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass in the church. Rev. William Schooler, pastor, will be the celebrant. Friends may also call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the McGann Hay Funerals Cremations Gatherings, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23 (enter off Cherry Road), Granger. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Thursday in the Waterfalls Chapel at the funeral home. A graveside committal service and burial will follow at Highland Cemetery
