SOUTH BEND - Dorothy J. Herczeg, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in Healthwin Specialized Care. Dorothy was born May 19, 1923, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Helen (Radzikowski) Bud-zinski. Dorothy was married to Stephen Gostola for six months before he passed away in December. She then was married to Joseph Herczeg for 41 years; he preceded her in death. Dorothy was also preceded in death by a brother, Harry J. Budzin-ski, and a close friend, William Goralski. Survivors of Dorothy include her niece, Michelle Krych; nephews, Ronald Budzinski and Randy (Judy) Budzinski; and grandchildren, Kimberly Raker, Brian Steenbeke and Daniel Kwiatkowski Jr. Dorothy retired from the RACO Corporation. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, and a member of the Sister Auxiliary at St. Adalbert's, and the St. Vincent De Paul Society at Holy Family. Dorothy enjoyed playing Bingo with her neighbors, and she loved to dance. Visitation for Dorothy will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, November 24, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in Holy Family Catholic Church.
