Walter Hojny
Walter Hojny, 50, Chicago, a former South Bend resident, died Wednesday in the Chicago State Tuberculosis Sanitarium. He was born on May 30, 1914, in South Bend. His wife Natalie died on May 9, 1951. He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn, of South Bend; a brother Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. Antonina Brzygut and Mrs. Stephanie Brzygut, all in Poland. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Rev. John Moskal, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. He was a veteran of World War II. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Thursday, April 29, 1965.
