SOUTH BEND - South Bend - Christopher “CJ” John Szczechowski, 48, passed away October 12, 2016 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Christopher “CJ” was born December 18, 1967 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Larry Szczechowski and Pamela Champaigne. “ Survivors of Christopher “CJ” include his parents, Larry (Peg) Szczechowski and Pam Champaigne; brother, Robert Alan (Roxanne) Szczechowski; 3 step-brothers; a step-sister; and several loved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. “CJ” was on the Golf Team and a graduate of Riley High School. He was a member of the Bowlers Country Club, Son of the American Legion and an Associate member of the South Bend Firefighters Association. “CJ” was an avid NASCAR fan; he enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He loved his cat Peanut. ‘CJ” was very much a people person, and he had many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held for Christopher “CJ” at the American Legion Post #357 on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.
