Jan. 5, 1962 - Jan. 29, 2015
MISHAWAKA - Richard Scott Pulaski, 53, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in IU Health in Indianapolis, IN. Rick was born on January 5, 1962 in South Bend to Dan and Nancy (Goheen) Pulaski. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy; a brother, Mark Pulaski and his grandparents, Jean and Russ Goheen, Nettie and Chester Pulaski. Surviving are three children, Malory Pulaski of Mishawaka, Christopher Pulaski of Elkhart and Kasey (Jarvis) Jackson of Mishawaka; his father, Daniel (Mary) Pulaski Sr. of South Bend; six grandchildren, Monica, Kyia, Kavis, Kayden, Analayah and Destiny; two brothers, Dan Pulaski of Niles, MI and Jeff (Lynn) Pulaski of South Bend; two sisters, Beth (Bob) Miller of South Bend and Amy (Tim) Reeser of Danvers, IL and his former wife and friend, Brenda Pulaski of Mishawaka. Rick was a machinist at Honeywell in South Bend for eight years. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was Black Belt and an instructor of Tae Kwon Do at Kim's Academy. The inspiration from his mother and father, his military career and his sport is something he carried with him always. His passion for teaching children, Tae Kwon Do were the best times of his life, as were the birth of his children. Rick was a very caring and patient person. Stubborn at times, and was serious about work and his family. When his grandkids came into his life, they became more important than himself. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 6 at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior in St. Monica Catholic Church, Mishawaka with Monsignor Bruce Piechocki officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. To leave the family an online condolence, please visit our website at www.hahnfuneralhomes.com. Published in South Bend Tribune on Feb. 3, 2015
