SOUTH BEND - David J. Gish, Jr., 67, of South Bend, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Center for Hospice Care, South Bend. He was born on May 13, 1950, in South Bend, to the late David and Louise Gish, Sr. David is survived by his sister, Patricia (Robert) Collins of South Bend. He was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area, working at the family owned business, Gish Lumber. David enjoyed gardening and wood working. There will be no visitation or services, cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
