On a cold Wednesday morning, David “Dave” Frucci, 70, passed away in the comfort of his loved ones, at his home in Niles, Michigan, on November 16, 2022. Dave is one of four children to the late Joseph and Edith (Asmus) Frucci. He was a graduate of Niles High School. On October 1, 1994 Dave married Tammy L. Thomas at a ceremony in Niles. The couple traveled extensively including a few cruises, living life to it’s fullest. He was employed by Simplicity Pattern Company for over thirty-seven years and then began working for Niles Precision, recently retiring after ten years of service. Dave was a true outdoors man, taking every chance he can get to enjoy the opportunities around him. If Dave could fish his days away, he definitely would, as long as he got to bring one of his grandchildren out with him. He loved to take his Harley Davidson Motorcycle out for joy rides, that is, if he wasn’t out in the woods hunting for morel mushrooms. While Dave lived a life full of adventure, whether it be fishing or camping, Dave’s true passion was the love he had for every one of his family members, and his never-ending commitment to make sure his family was taken care of. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Joseph and Edith (Asmus) Frucci. Surviving Dave is his wife of twenty-eight years, Tammy Frucci; children, Crystal (Jeremy) Santana, and Matthew (Vanessa) Cheney, all of Niles; Siblings, Cathy (Nick) Machemer of Niles, Tim (Janis) Frucci of Niles and Sandra Neumayer of Kentucky. Dave’s memory will also be cherished by all ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a set of twins that are soon on the way. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Brown Funeral Home in Niles.
