SOUTH BEND - Victor Lodyga, 82, of South Meade Street, died at 12:17 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Mr. Lodyga retired in 1977 from United Conveyor as a shipping clerk and was employed by Studebaker Corp. for 21 years.He was born March 21, 1912, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Sept. 2, 1935, in South Bend, he married Helen Drzewiecki. She died March 6, 1977. He is survived by two sons, Jerome V. of Osceola and Robert D. of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Regina Kelly and Helen Bikowski, both of South Bend. A daughter, Elizabeth J. Morgan, died Nov. 29, 1993. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where a wake will be at 7 p.m. South Bend Tribune (IN) - Thursday, May 5, 1994
