Nanci L. Blacharski, 66, of Lakeville, IN passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Memorial Hospital. Nanci was born on November 12, 1950 in Aurora, IL to the late Franklin Rhude, Sr. and Leah (Bright) Klein. On July 1, 1978 in Elkhart, IN she married David Blacharski, who survives. In addition to her husband of 39 years, Nanci is survived by her daughter Mary (Thomas) Kramer and sons, Steve (Tara) Blacharski and Jason Blacharski; seven grandchildren, Justine, Cameron, Taylor, Jaidyn, Brandyn, Olivia and Ryder; Mother, Leah Klein; and two brothers, Steve Rhude and Franklin Rhude, Jr., both of Elkhart. Nanci enjoyed spending time with her family, walking through Potato Creek state park, watching all wildlife and spending time with her beloved dogs at home. She also enjoyed many hobbies such as crafting (she was exceptional at embroidery and sewing), reading (she was an avid reader and loved a good mystery book), supervising over the garden. She was employed at Wal-Mart for many years, she continuously spoke highly of the friends she made throughout the years there. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. IN. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Nanci may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P. O.
