Clarence E. McMinn age 71, of 17752 Darden Rd. died about 428 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mr. McMinn was a retired shoe Salesman for Robertsons Department Store after 25 years of employment. He was born in Peru, Indiana and had lived in Michiana all his life. On December 25, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana, he married the former Anne Piechorowski who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Csicsko of Fort Wayne and Dr. Margaret Policastro of Chicago; two sons Paul of South Bend and Robert of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and four sisters Stella Corbitt and Jenie Drake both of Hendersonville, N.C., LeeNora Gilsinger of Winamac and Clara Jane Reece of Peru. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Santa Marta Council and Father J.A. Nieuwland Assembly of the Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of WW II.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, where American Legion Pulaski Post 367 will conduct a military service. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 Friday at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a wake will be conducted by the Knights of Columbus Santa Marta Council 553 and the parish. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church or Christ Child Society.

The Rev. George Szymanowski officiated Christmas Day at the marriage of Miss Ann Piechorowski, sister of Mrs TC Gorazewski 1016 West Washington and Private First Class Edward C Mc Minn of Fort Blanding, Fla.; son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McMinn of Peru, Ind. The ceremony too place at 3:00 p.m. in St Hedwig Roman Catholic Church before an altar banked with poinsetta, palms and Cathedral candlelabra. Prof. C F Luzny played the nuptial music in the presense of 200 guests.

The bride who was given in marriage by Dr. T C Gorazewski wore a gown of ivory satinmade along princesslines with a full court train. Her veil was of illusionand fell fingertiplength from a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white roses, sweatpeas, and orchids. Mrs. Craig Hambidge the matron of honor chose a gown of aqua brocaded taffeta, made with a fitted bodice and full skirt.Her flowers were yellow and brronze chrysanthemums with matching flowers in her hair. Craig E Hambridge was the best man and the ushers were John Hosinski and Matt Sieracki. A reception followed in Dr. and Mrs. Gorazewski's home. A wedding cake centered the table, circled with white bells and small white flowersand tapers. The couple left for a wedding trip to Chicago, after which private McMinn will return to camp.

The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert McMinn and Miss Clara Jane McMinn of Peru, Ind; Mrs L C Glisinger of Marion, Ind; the Misses Tes Marie Gorka and Angela Hosinski of Washington DC and Miss Clara Karpinski of Detroit MI.
