b] 25 Sept 1909 in So Bend; d] 13 Mar 1980, age 70 of 509 S Brookfield, died at 4:05 a.m. today in St Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was retired from the So Bend Waterworks, & lived here all his life. Services at St Joseph Funeral Home. On 21 Jan 1929 in So Bend, he married the former Clara Deka who survives with three daughters, mrs Rita J Snyder of Phoenix AZ, Mrs Loretta J Catalino of Mishawaka and Mrs Barbara A Szuch of So Bend; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Lottie Stachowski and Mrs Emily Mais, and a brother Ike, all of So Bend.
