Paula A. Lewandowski, 44, of 1327 Edgewood Drive, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Lewandowski was employed in sales by the former Berg's Jewelers. She was born Jan. 12, 1946, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On April 29, 1967, in South Bend, as Paula Mrozinski, she married Thomas Lewandowski. He survives, with two sons, Thomas Jr. and Timothy, both of South Bend; her parents, Eleanor and Leonard Mrozinski Sr. of South Bend; three sisters, Leona Jerzakowski of El Paso, Texas, Rita Imel of South Bend, and Donna Roush of North Liberty; and four brothers, Hillary Mrozinski of Marshall, Texas, Raymond and Mel Mrozinski both of South Bend, and Leonard Mrizinski Jr., of Osceola. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross CatholicChurch. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
She was the daughter of Leonard Mrozinski and Eleanor A. Chuyla.
On April 24, 1967 in South Bend, Indiana, she was married to Thomas Larry Lewandowski.
