Joseph E. Chorba, Sr., 89, of Juniper Road in Niles, died at 10:25 on Friday, July 20, 2007, at Lakeland Regional Hospital, Saint Joseph, Michigan, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, with the Rev. Daniel A. Greegor, pastor of Sumnerville Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Full military honors will be at the graveside by VFW Post No. 2284 and American Legion Post No., both of Edwardsburg. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral Home. Arrangements were by Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
