EDWARDSBURG - Josef Szaday, 78, died Friday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Battle Creek, after an illness. Survivors include his wife, Gizella (Korbonicz); a daughter, Loretta Szaday of Austin, Texas; three sons, Josef of LaPorte, and Steven and Peter, both of South Bend; a stepson, Blaise Suranyi of South Bend; and two sisters in Hungary. Private family services will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
