================

South Bend resident Margo M. Fuerbringer passed away at the age of 76 on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Nora K. (Farley) Gerharz. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years. He and Margo were married on August 21, 1965, with the Rev. John P. Kennelly from Chicago officiating. Also surviving are her two daughters; two sons and their wives; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; her brother of Bradenton, FL; and a niece. Margo was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph High School, South Bend, and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She also volunteered at Memorial Hospital for 7 years. Prior to the birth of her children, she worked as a secretary at Bendix in the automotive division. Margo enjoyed her roles as wife and mother and was dedicated to all of her family. She enjoyed her yard and gardening as well as watching wild turkey and deer that passed by her home. A music lover, she especially enjoyed music from the 50s and 60s and made certain a radio was always with her. A gracious and thoughtful woman, she never forgot a birthday or met a stranger. She will be remembered for her choice in comical greeting cards, a testament to her sense of humor and delightful personality. Margo had fun playing card games and was a committed Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan. Known for her charitable donations to local charities, she was admired for her generosity.

A Mass of Christian Burial followed visitation on Saturday, October 31, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, South Bend, with a private burial concluding services. The family requested memorial contributions be made to Shriners' Hospital.
