Robert A. Kossakowski, 62, of South Bend passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 24, 1958 in South Bend, IN to the late Edwin and Imogene (Brussler) Kossakowski. On September 15, 1990 at Holy Cross Church, Robert married the love of his life, Donna Kossakowski who survives. Also surviving are his niece, Stephanie Odynski; nephew, Christopher Odynski; great-nephew, Princeton Odynski; and special friends, Gene (Linda) Rozanski, Mike (Barb) Hummel, and Walt (Merry) Bridgewater. Robert loved trains, taking trips with his wife to state parks, his ferrets, Sassy and Lizzy, and enjoyed going to indoor shooting ranges with his friends. There will be no services at this time. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
